Penrith Panthers

The Penrith Panthers entered the Intrust Super Premiership NSW in 2014, replacing the Windsor Wolves as a direct feeder to the Panthers' NRL team. They had immediate success in their maiden year under the Panthers name, defeating the Newcastle Knights 48-12 in the 2014 Grand Final at Allianz Stadium.

Teams such as Windsor and St Marys continue to provide talent to the Intrust Super Premiership NSW side, along with other clubs competing in the strong Penrith District Rugby League. In 2017, the Panthers will welcome back the 2014 premiership-winning coach Garth Brennan, who replaces the outgoing Steve Georgallis as they aim to improve on last year's eighth-place finish.
